Last week I showed you how to set up a Facebook ad in ‘Ads Manager’. If you are not ready for ads manager yet there are still ways you can save money on the Facebook ads that you set up on your Timeline.
The Facebook ‘Boost Post’ option is a great way to reach more people with your updates, you could however be wasting your advertising budget on reaching people that have no interest in your product or service or who have no buying power. If you are spending money you want to make sure you are reaching the right people.

When Targeting Goes Wrong
Don’t be this person. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this ad pop up in my newsfeed. That’s money wasted right there. Not only do I not live in Slovenia but I haven’t been looking for any Slovenia related pages or even visiting andy Slovak websites recently. I don’t mind seeing these ads in my feeds but this company is paying for it to be shown to me.
Don’t Let Your Boosted Post Get Rejected
Remember that if you are boosting a post on Facebook and it contains an image that image may only contain 20% text. To avoid getting your ad rejected you can check your images before you post.
