Who Is Amanda Webb?
I formed Spiderworking.com to work with SME’s, local and small businesses to help them develop social media strategies, offering them training and support. I learnt my skills whilst promoting my first business, Feelgood Organic Hampers. Prior to this I worked as an Assistant Director in the Irish Film Business working on productions such as Adam & Paul, Angela’s Ashes and various commercials for various well known brands.
In 2010 I co-founded the KLCK bloggers Network in order to encourage and support both business and personal bloggers as they learnt how to use both blogging and social media tools. In 2011 I took this one step further with Bloggers International co-managing their inaugural event.
In 2012 I founded Blog Awards Ireland along with my KLCK colleagues and head up the online marketing and project management of the event.
My blog reached the final of Social Media Examiners International top 10 Social Media Blogs of 2011 and 2012, The Social Media Awards 2012 and my Video Blog reached the finals of the Irish Web Awards 2010
As well as running Spiderworking I am the lead social media trainer with the Fitzwilliam Institute and I deliver the social media modules for them on their event management courses, public relations courses and their digital marketing courses
In my spare time I like playing with my cats, cycling, reading and cinema.
